My Story

I grew up in Wauwatosa and graduated from Wauwatosa East High School in 2001. Tosa has always been home to me. While I was still in high school, I joined the United States Army in 1999, completing basic training between my junior and senior years and finishing my MOS training the summer I graduated.

During my time in the Army, I was deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan. Those experiences—working in convoy operations, civilian affairs, and training missions—shaped who I am today and taught me the value of service, teamwork, accountability, and leadership. In 2010, I chose to leave the military so I could build a more stable life and focus on starting a family.

After leaving the Army in 2010, I lived in Claremont, California, where I met my wife, Amy. When our daughter, Olivia, was born, everything changed. We knew we wanted her to grow up in a place where neighbors know each other, look out for each other, and Community truly matters, coupled with strong local roots. We wanted our family to have the same experience I had growing up. That decision brought us back home to Wauwatosa, where my family’s roots go back generations.

Today, my family and I are proud members of St. Jude Parish. I’ve spent years coaching youth soccer with the Tosa Kickers, I work at the Milwaukee VA serving fellow veterans where I can give back to the veteran community and I run a small bicycle repair business which allows me to serve our community in a very hands-on way and keeps me connected to neighbors and families.

My Qualifications

I bring a unique combination of public service, business leadership, and deep community roots to this role. As a military veteran with 10 years of experience as a Department of Defense Logistics Specialist, I learned the importance of accountability, strategic problem-solving, and delivering results under pressure. For the past six years, I've owned and operated Tosa Bike Dr right here in Wauwatosa, giving me firsthand understanding of the challenges local businesses face and the importance of creating an environment where small enterprises can thrive. My career in supply chain management and purchasing, including my current role as a TCF Inventory Management Specialist with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, has honed my analytical skills and taught me how to manage complex systems, make data-driven decisions, and maximize value for taxpayers.

I'm detail-oriented, collaborative, and committed to transparency. Whether serving our country, managing inventory systems for our veterans, or serving customers at my bike shop, I've always approached challenges with the same principle: listen carefully, work hard, and deliver results. I’m running to represent District 4 because I care deeply about Wauwatosa and its future. I want my daughter and one day her children to want to stay here and raise their families here too. That means protecting what makes Tosa special, listening to residents, and making thoughtful, responsible decisions about growth and development.
